Fair Use- a limitation and exception to the exclusive right granted by copyright law to the author of a creative work, is a doctrine in United States copyright law that allows limited use of copyrighted material without acquiring permission from the rights holders The difference between copyright and patent is that copyright is the exclusive rights to a particular expression, idea, information or original creation. A patent protects an invention, process, device or method. The Difference between Trademark and trade secret is that trademark is something that is publicly recognized and known as being officially associated with a particular company. Trade secret is opposite of other types of protecting of intellectual property such as trademarks and patents
